Anchors can be a touch, sound, symbol, places, songs ect and are divided between Visual, Auditive and Kinesthetic anchors. Many sports players for instance perform rituals before a game which anchors a desired state of mind they want to be in to be able to do their very best. Many have fears of speaking in public but to overcome this fear we can switch our focus from fear to the desired mindset by for example anchoring the state of mind we have before we do sports.
